Who should complete the Blended FAR First Aid Responder Recertification Course
This course can be undertaken if you have a valid PHECC First Aid Responder Certificate. This must be in date to do a refresher course.
The refresher is carried out over 12 hours, encompassing blended learning, half self-paced study followed by an in-house practical session in person. The course content is the FIRST AID RESPONSE course, just laid out in a different time frame format
First Aid Responder Recertification
It is crucial that you recertify every 2 completions of the FAR.
your accreditation will be removed if you do not keep up this refresher training as per the guidelines (this is a statutory requirement and regulated by PHECC)
Eligibility:
The refresher course is available for individuals who hold a valid PHECC First Aid Responder certificate. The certification must be within the valid date range to be eligible for the refresher course.
Course Duration?
The course takes approximately 3.5 hrs to complete.

To be eligible for the refresher course, participants must present a valid and in-date First Aid Responder certificate. The full First Aid Responder certification is valid for two years, after which the refresher course is required.
